The text on our site falls into one of three categories.
Works in the public domain[edit]
Those for which copyright has expired and are in the public domain.[1]
Works made available by institutions[edit]
Those works for which copyright belongs to the institutions of the Faith, but through their guidance or by directly securing permission, distribution is allowed.
Works protected by copyright[edit]
All other copyrighted works have access restrictions in place. Pages can not be viewed directly, but a keyword search can be used to retrieve a selection of relevant text. For the legality of this practice in the United States see Authors Guild, Inc. v. Google, Inc.
