Welcome, Bahai.works is a digitization project that seeks to present a collection of documents that are related to the Bahá’í Faith and its history. We host documents that were originally published and distributed in print, and released through one of the Bahá’í institutions or publishers. Documents are available in English and German. We display documents in their original format and also display a text layer for search purposes. As time and resources allow, we proofread these text copies. If you would like to help please consider proofreading text or sending us documents for digitization.
The Bahá’í Faith is an independent world religion founded in the mid 1800's by Bahá’u’lláh that offers teachings meant to unify mankind and renew the spiritual character of the individual and society. The early history of the Bahá’í Faith has been recorded in a variety of mediums from books to periodicals to audio talks. Bahai.works is not an official website of the Bahá’í community, it is run independently along with its sister projects Bahaipedia.org and Bahai.media. Bahai.works was started in 2007 by David Haslip.
As of today, editors on bahai.works have made 224,569 edits to 29,137 pages.
