Area National Teaching Committees

Functions: To consolidate the Baha’i community in designated area by assisting the individual believers to form groups and by assisting the groups to establish local Assemblies; to encourage, advise and assist the new and smaller communities to safeguard their As- sembly status and develop independent, self-sustaining Baha’i communities; to encourage the maintenance of effective study and teaching activities by the holding of regular fireside teaching meetings and study classes; to conduct area teaching conferences; to encourage teaching activity throughout the area by traveling and circuit teachers; to prepare and distribute a monthly area bulletin; to supervise the Regional Teaching Com- mittees within the area for the achievement of these ends. �[Page 3]1948 -
