It has cut operations to the bone. It has initiated a two-year period of austerity, solidarity and consecration. Summer schools, Baha’i World, World Order Magazine... have been suspended by direction of the Guardian. At his direction, European teaching, Inter-America teaching and National teaching are continuing on budgets which have cut out all but the essentials.
MAKE YOUR RESOLVE. ASSUME YOUR RESPONSIBILITY AS A BAHA’I. CUT OUT THE STATEMENT ON REVERSE SIDE, AND, IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY SUBMITTED ONE, SEND IT TO THE TREASURER OF THE NATIONAL BAHA’I FUND, 112 LINDEN AVE., WILMETTE, ILL., GET IN THE SACRIFICE ARMY; GET STARTED TOWARD THE GOAL!
Remember, it is a sacrifice that you make in addition to your contribution to your local Treasurer. Remember that your donation to the National Treasurer goes directly to the Special Temple Fund.
Contributions to the National Fund from Assemblies must carry all the other
activities of the Second Seven Year Plan, which the Guardian has instructed
us to continue, during the Temple emergency.
