SPECIAL BULLETIN #3
BAHA'| WORLD CONGRESS
URGENT
IMPORTANT NOTICE TO THOSE WHO HAVE NOT YET REGISTERED
The National Congress Arrangements Com- mittee has the responsibility of scheduling the chartered planes to and from London for the Baha’i World Congress in April, 1963. No defi- nite dates can be set up until we have the com- plete registration of al] the American believers who wish to attend.
Therefore, if you desire to take advantage of the low chartered-plane rates, being made pos- sible by the National Spiritual Assembly, you MUST REGISTER IMMEDIATELY by filling in and returning to our committee the applica- tion form printed in our Special Bulletin #1 (March 1962 BaxA’f News insert).
Registrations must be made NOW, even though your plans cannot be definite at this
time. Should you later find it necessary, you can cancel your registration up to December 31, 1962. If you do not register, your committee will have to schedule fewer flights and late- comers may be compelled to pay the full air fare which is from $250.00 to $400.00 more than the charter fares.
THOSE WHO HAVE ALREADY SENT IN THE APPLICATION FORM (QUESTIONNAIRE, SPECIAL BULLETIN #1) NEED NOT REG- ISTER AGAIN,
However, those who have sent only the form addressed to the Jubilee Committee (January 1962 BanA’i News insert) must also send the Questionnaire, Special Bulletin #1.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS OF SOME OF THE HARD AND FAST CIVIL AERONAUTICS
BOARD REGULATIONS GOVERNING CHARTER FLIGHTS
1. It will take about 140 persons to fill each plane, which means that we must find 140 peo- ple wishing to leave on the same date from the same place.
2. The same 140 persons who have crossed to London together must return on the same flight from London.
3. Only Baha’is who were enrolled by October 1, 1962 are eligible for the reduced charter rates. The sole exception to this ruling is in re- spect to non-Baha’i legal dependents (such as
husband, wife, children, parents) who will ac- company a believer. No half-fares are accorded on chartered planes. Therefore, children will be charged full fare.
The National Congress Arrangements Com- mittee earnestly requests your utmost coopera- tion in supplying us promptly with this informa- tion which we need so desperately. This will enable us, in turn, to announce shortly the defi- nite plane schedules, information which we know is eagerly awaited by us all.
