Examples of sounds or word-sounds that may be removed from audio transcripts are as follows:
- "Uh" or similar sounds spoken in the middle of a sentence which do not add to the talk
- Repeated words
- Speaker says "And I was, uhh, I was" would be transcribed only as "And I was..." or possibly "I was..." context depending
- Mistaken words, for when the speaker immediately corrects themselves
- Speaker saying "and we can do, and we can go" would be transcribed as "and we can go" if "do" was clearly a misspoken word
