Help:Chat with AI
Chat with AI |
After performing a search look for the new "Chat with AI" button next to the search bar. Pressing that button will compile a list of relevant content pages and paragraphs, send that content to ChatGPT, and allow you to ask questions about the text. This feature works on copyright protected content, so while you may not be able to access those pages directly, you can use this feature to ask specific questions related to that text and get answers.
How it works[edit]
Step 1: Filter titles. If you press "Chat with AI" the first thing we do is send the list of titles you're looking at to ChatGPT and ask it to filter out pages that are not likely to contain relevant content. Excluded content should be things like tables of contents, indexes, bibliographies or similar. The remaining pages are included.
Step 2: Search for relevant paragraphs. Once we have a list of pages that potentially contain relevant content we scan through those pages using the text that matched your search results. Once the system has determined the matching paragraphs for each result you are redirected to Special:AI with the first box (List of wiki pages) filled in.
Step 3: Type your question in the "Question to ask" box and press "Chat". The matching paragraphs and your question will be sent to ChatGPT and when it replies you will see the result in the main content area.
