↑ The House of the Báb was ordained by Bahá’u’lláh in the Kitáb-i-Aqdas as a place of pilgrimage. In this House the Báb held His celebrated interview with Mullá Ḥusayn (the first to seek out the Báb and independently recognize His station) on the evening of 22 May 1844.
