National Teaching Committee Bulletins/1921/February 11/Text

[Page 1] Washington, D.C., Feb.11, 1921.

Dear Friends:

The first letter sent out by the Teaching Committee last year solicited, among other things, suggestions by the friends, which suggestions would be in turn generally shared with all.

The same thought from several has been received,so we are ‎ presenting‎ it herewith, namely: That it would be well ‎ for‎ each Assembly to have a local fund for literature; and that a generous supply should be kept on hand continually of the following, which are inexpensive, but very important, instructive, helpful and especially valuable for inquirers:

Letter and Tablet from ‎ ‘Abdu’l-Bahá‎ )
to the Central Organization for a )
Durable Peace, The Hague. )

10 ¢ a copy: $7.00 for 100

The Hidden Words, 25 cents a copy

Pamphlet on Strikes (from "Answered Questions." (Helps in answering economic questions).

"Big Bens" (or so-called little )
blue booklet). Contains a large )
amt. of information in brief. )

We send to Mr. Roy Wilhelm
104 Wall St. N.Y. City, for
these booklets. 3 ¢ each.

(The "Big Bens" are also printed and ready for sale in French, Italian and Japanese).

Also we have just received another little blue-covered booklet, in size about the same as the Big Bens. It is called "The ‎ Bahá’í‎ Message," and contains a Foreword by Mr. Horace Holley, and the ‎ Bahá’í‎ Message presented in the Words of ‎ Bahá’u’lláh‎ and ‎ ‘Abdu’l-Bahá‎. It is an immensely valuable addition to our present supply of literature for inquirers. They are for sale by Miss Mary Lesch, 4319 Lake Park Av., Chicago, Ill.

It has been suggested also that it would be well to keep on hand in every Assembly a supply of the small photographs of the picture of the Master, reproduced from Miss Juliet Thompson’s painting. They are in two sizes: one at 12 cents a copy, and another at 5 cents a copy. Some one adds: "Many people have been attracted to the spirit and station of ‎ ‘Abdu’l-Bahá‎ just by looking at this picture. These can also be purchased from Miss Mary Lesch, and we understand the proceeds go to the Temple Fund.

Suggestions received and information furnished by Secretary, Apmt. 3, Mendota, Washington, D.C.
