May 5th, 1922. Persian Colony,
ALLAHO-ABFA !
My dear Spiritual Sister:
The reading of the Bulletin issued by 'the Teaching Committse' has brought joy and fragrance to the sorrowful hearts of the Holy Fousebold; it was also read in the meeting of the friends who greatly rejoiced over the levotion and the confirmed services of their beloved sisters and brathren across the seas, With hearts ablaze with the love of the Esloved Master, and with faces shining with the radiance of hope, thay lifted their voices in thanksgiving to their loving Father, Abdul Baha, who from His Realm on High, still watchés over His fold and comforts th2ir hearts with the sovul-refrsshinz nsws of the spread of tke Cause. Thsy prayed that th2 frisnds may b2 confirmed in their 2ndeavors to bring love and joy to the sorrow-stricken world,
I am very sorry, dear sister, that your letter and the Bulletin § reacked too late for Shoghi Efferdi to read; yet I know how great a joy the news of the confirmed services of our dear brothers, Mr. Gregory ard Mr. Vail, would have brought to a heart that beats only for the lovs and sarvics of th Cause. The glorious Promises of Abdul Baha regarding the future growth of ths Cause in America, the manifest love and devotion of the friends, th2ir firmess in the Covenant, ani their earnest desires to carry ont the Will of our Belovei Lord help2d to disp2l ths gloom of sorrow and to revive his hopes. Now that the momer tous events of ths last few months have mads it necessary for bim to leave ths Holy Land, h2 ralies upon the unified efforts and effective action of ths friends to help the onward march of the Cause.
The Greatest Holy Leaf highly approves of the circulation of the Bulletin among th3 friends, for, she says: "It will bring them to a quicker realization of the ABHA Power, will strengthen them in their belisf that guidance is vouchsafed to the corfident soul, and that Divine Confirmations will assist him who arissth to serve His Cause."
The Ladies of the Household send their best Bahai grestinzgs and wish me to express to you their hsartfelt admiration for your devote1 services in the Cause. They remermbsr you at the Holy Shrine and pray that ths ABNA dlsssings may always surround you.
Yours very sincerely in His vA, (Simmed) Ruh-Angig Rabbani,
