This template was created in lieu of manually renaming hundreds of {{page|...}} templates when new Bahá’í World pdf scans were uploaded but had a different number of pages compared with the original, causing page numbering to get out of sync on the wiki. The inputs are a volume number and a page number. This template uses Module:BahaiWorld.

This template also uses two references {{#set_associated_image:}} and {{#set_associated_index:}}. The purpose of those two tags are to associate a specific page in a pdf document with the corresponding page which contains its plain text in the main namespace. In other words, link from File:Something.pdf to </nowiki>Some page</nowiki>. These settings are associated with the "Return to text view" which is displayed at the top of a PDF file (eg here). Note that if you are stepping through a PDF file the "Return to text" link will not update, but if you refresh the page it will become correct. More information can be found on our github page here.
