ABOVE is the English text of one of the prayers prescribed by Bahá’u’lláh for f ulfilment of the daily obligatory prayer. It is known as the Short Obligatory Prayer, and when used is recited once in twenty-four hours, at noon. Following is a short selection from the f our hundred and nine languages and dialects into which Bahá’í literature had been translated by Riḍván (April 21st—May 2nd) 1968. A subsequent volume of The Bahá’í World will include the text of this prayer in all the languages into which it will have been translated.
