ARRIVAL OF JENABE FAZEL AND A BIRD'S EYE VIEW OF HIS SPIRITUAL WORK.

To the Bahais in the United States and Canada, the arrival of Janabe Fazel was the clarion call to a higher spiritual striving and the display of nobler effort to arise in the diffusion of the Fragrances of the Rose Garden of. Abha. In this short article we may divide his four months stay in America into five parts and write a few words about each.

lst Part: His arrival in New York; his appearance in the Twelfth annual Bahai Convention; his inspiring talks before that gathering; the stimulation that the delegates received from his meeting; and his many lectures before outside socisties in and around New York. The believers were enlightened by his-wisdom and gentleness and realized more than ever before that this is the day of teaching the Cause of God. |

2nd: His departure from New York for Washington, D. C., and his stops in Philadelphia and Baltimore. He stayed about two weeks in the Capital as the guest of Mrs. A. J. Parsons. During this time innumerable public and private meetings were arranged and many people met this beloved teacher and caught a glimpse of the beauty and heavenliness of the spiritual state.

3rd: His visit to Chicago and his association with the friends of God in that city. There were many informal meetings and a few large ones where Jenabe Fazel met the dear believers and discussed with them those problems that concern the vital growth of the cause. On his way he met the friends in Cleveland and Detroit and thru spiritual discourse uwolifted their spirits and inspired their souls.

4th: His significant visit to Boston. This was by far the most productive part of the trip. Jenabe Fazel had a suite in Victoria Hotel and for about two weeks he met daily, friends and strangers. Here the press interviewed him and wrote a mumber of articles. Many outside meetings were held; Bahai Feasts brought the believers together and the Cause was generally well proclaimed. From here he paid short visits to Worcester and Springfield where the friends were addressed with joy and fragrance.

Oth: His long stay in Green Acre. Just as a snowball rolling down from the height of a mountain becomes larger and larger, liketvise all the previous meetings added momentum to the Green Acre Conferences. Here in this ideai spot BP300.2 where Mirza Abul Fazl. raised the Call of the Kingdom; where Abdul Baha spoke the -y54 Words of Life, our new teacher taught and lived with the utmost spirituality and 1262 fragrance. The believers coming from all parts of the United States were invigor1920 «ted and refreshed thru his discourses. His lectures were all inspirational. The Sep 19 Portsmouth Herald published long articles about the Cause ani the activities of

Green Acre, reporting in some cases the Talk of Jenabe Fazel verbatum. Thus thousands of souls received the teachings thru the press. Just as the four previous trips had their side trips, likewise in Green Acre parly vas included a most wonderful trip of eleven days to Buffalo, East’ Aurora, Lily Dale, Chautauqua and Jamestown, all in New York State. Im the above trip more than fifteen thousand people heard the message and were carried away with the beauty of the Cause. The second trip was to Dublin, N. H., as the guest of Mrs. A. J. Parsons. In nineteen hundred and twelve Abdul Baha spent three weeks in that spot. Mrs. Parsons had sent invitation cards to all her friends; arranged three public meetings and many morning interviews, In one of those meetings there was a prominent clergyman who after listening to the talk of Janabe Fazel and asking a mumbder of questions said: "The Bahai Cause is the Sermon on the Mount put into practice. If these are the Bahai principles then we are all Bahais." Then turning to Jenabe Fazel he said: "Your coming to this country and your spiritual discourses will inspire us to go back to the simplicity of the Religion of Christ. You will help us a great deal in this direction."

A very interesting article appeared in Peterborough Transcript September second, giving a short history of the Cause, something about Jenabe Fazel and an enumeration of the Twelve Principles. Aside from the public meetings in Dublin, Professor Pumpelly and another prominent person invited our teacher to dirmers in their beautiful summer residences. The days were expended in Dublin in the utmost joy and spirituality and Mrs. Parsons acted as the gracious hostess. We spoke about the Cause; we heralded the Coming of the Kingdom; we were touched by the soft breeze of the spirit; we soared in the celestial atmosnhere of love and we talked about our Beloved Abdul Baha, the Center of the Covenant.

Mr. and ifirs. Randall and Miss Amy Wilkinson conveyed the Persian party in their automobiles to Dublin. The ride which lasted about four hours thru most wonderful woods, mountains, lakes and meadows, was an ever varying scene of beauty and art. At this writing Jenabe Fazel is in New York resting for a short while before he starts on his long trip toward the far West. There is no doubt that hundreds of meetings will be addressed, thousands of souls will be awakened and innumerable people will be guided toward the palace of Reality. The future, yea the future belongs to those who labor and toil and work in the Vineyard of the Lord. Capacity is required so that the Confirmations of the Kingdom of Abha may be brought down. Jenabe Fazel looks toward the West with wistful longing and anticipation. It is the Land of Promise, redolent with the morning light and vibrant with the choruses of birds at the festival of Love. Toward the Yest the eyes of Abdul Baha are turned. California, the Golden State, the paradise of light and joy, the El Dorado of happiness and bliss, the holyland of America! There is no doubt that Jenabe Fazel will be welcomed by the friends in those far off cities with open arms and dancing spirits. Straighten the roads! 0 ye workers of the Kingdom! Hold aloft in your firm hands the shining torch of guidance! Cry aloud and invite the people to the banquet of Peace! Raise the Barmer of Universal Brotherhood in the Assemblage of Mankind! Baha Allah is with us. The hosts of the Supreme Concourse are assisting us. Abdul Baha is sending his invisible army to reinforce us. The Lord of Lordsis with His people, and the King of Kings has unveiled His Beloved Countenance in the Congregation of the elect. Now is the time. Now is the accepted time,
